About longevity peptide vials
Longevity research looks at the processes inside cells that change with age: energy production in the mitochondria, the repair of DNA, and the length of telomeres. The compounds in this collection are each studied for one of those processes.
NAD+ is a coenzyme every cell uses to produce energy. MOTS-c is a peptide encoded by mitochondrial DNA. Epithalon is studied for its effect on telomerase. Human evidence for all of them is still early, which a provider will explain before prescribing.
Lyophilized means freeze-dried. The peptide ships as a dry powder in a sealed glass vial, which keeps it stable in transit. Before the first use it is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, then drawn up with an insulin syringe.
