About KPV dosing
KPV (lysine-proline-valine) is the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. It is studied for its effect on inflammatory signalling in the gut and skin, and appears in G1's KLOW pen alongside BPC-157, TB-500, and GHK-Cu.
A 10 mg vial in 2 mL gives 5,000 mcg per mL, so a 500 mcg dose is 0.1 mL — 10 units. If you are using the KLOW pen the dose is set by the pen and this calculator is not needed.
As with every peptide on this site, the dose comes from your G1 provider. This page converts that dose into a syringe measurement; it is not a dosing recommendation.
How is KPV usually taken?
Subcutaneous injection is the most common route in the research literature; oral and topical forms have also been studied for gut and skin applications. Your provider will specify the route and dose.
How many units is 500 mcg of KPV?
With a 10 mg vial reconstituted in 2 mL, 500 mcg is 10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe. Reconstituted in 1 mL it is 5 units. The calculator adjusts as you change the water volume.
