About CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin dosing
CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a GHRH analog and ipamorelin is a GHRP; together they stimulate growth-hormone release through two different receptors in the same pulse, which is why they are almost always paired. G1 sells the blend as 5/5 mg and 10/10 mg vials and as the Apex and Apex Plus pens.
The label gives total peptide: a "10 mg" vial is 5 mg of each. In 2 mL that is 5,000 mcg/mL, so a 400 mcg total dose (200 mcg of each) is 0.08 mL — 8 units — and the vial holds 25 doses.
Timing is usually bedtime, aligned with the body's largest natural GH pulse. Your G1 provider sets the dose and schedule.
What is a typical CJC-1295 / ipamorelin dose?
Commonly discussed protocols use 100–300 mcg of each peptide per injection, once daily at bedtime or up to three times daily. From a 1:1 blend, enter the total (e.g. 400 mcg for 200/200).
Why are CJC-1295 and ipamorelin combined?
They act on different receptors — GHRH and ghrelin/GHS-R — and the combined stimulus produces a larger, cleaner GH pulse than either alone. Ipamorelin is chosen over older GHRPs because it does not meaningfully raise cortisol or appetite.
Do I still need this calculator with the Apex pen?
No. Apex (5/5 mg) and Apex Plus (10/10 mg) are prefilled click-dose pens; the dose is dialled on the pen. This calculator is for lyophilized blend vials.
