Tesamorelin Dosage Calculator
Tesamorelin doses are large — typically 1–2 mg a day — so a 10 mg vial and a modest water volume keep each dose inside one syringe. Enter your numbers to see the draw.

About Tesamorelin dosing
Tesamorelin is a stabilized GHRH analog and the only peptide of its class with FDA approval — for reducing visceral abdominal fat in a specific population. It is studied more broadly for body composition, and G1 sells it as a 10 mg vial and in the TesaTrim and Fragment Apex pens.
With 10 mg in 2 mL (5,000 mcg/mL), a 2 mg dose is 0.4 mL — 40 units — and the vial holds five doses. From a 5 mg vial in 2 mL the same dose is 80 units, and the vial lasts two and a half days.
Your G1 provider sets the dose; this calculator converts it to a syringe measurement and flags draws that exceed one syringe.
What is the standard tesamorelin dose?
The approved dose is 2 mg once daily by subcutaneous injection into the abdomen. Compounded protocols sometimes use 1–1.5 mg. Your provider sets what applies to you.
How long does reconstituted tesamorelin last?
Follow the beyond-use date from your pharmacy — commonly 14–28 days refrigerated. At 2 mg daily a 10 mg vial is used up in five days, well within that window.
How many units is 2 mg of tesamorelin?
40 units with 10 mg in 2 mL; 80 units with 5 mg in 2 mL; 20 units with 10 mg in 1 mL. The calculator shows the exact figure for your vial and water volume.
