About Survodutide dosing
Survodutide is a glucagon/GLP-1 dual agonist from Boehringer Ingelheim and Zealand Pharma, studied for obesity and for MASH (fatty liver disease), where the glucagon component is of particular interest.
With 10 mg in 2 mL, a 0.6 mg dose is 0.12 mL — 12 units — and the vial holds sixteen starting doses. At 4.8 mg the vial covers two.
Survodutide is investigational and not prescribed at G1. A free consultation can cover the options that are available today.
What weight loss has survodutide shown in trials?
Phase 2 results reported average reductions around 15–19% of body weight at 46 weeks on the higher doses, with the expected GLP-1-class digestive side effects during escalation. Phase 3 trials are ongoing.
How is survodutide administered?
As a once-weekly subcutaneous injection, escalated over about four months from 0.6 mg to a maintenance dose of 2.4, 3.6, or 4.8 mg depending on tolerance.
