About GHK-Cu dosing

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide whose levels decline with age. It is studied for collagen and elastin signalling, wound healing, and hair growth, and is the backbone of G1's GLOW and KLOW blends.

From a 50 mg vial in 2 mL (25,000 mcg/mL), a 1 mg dose is 0.04 mL — 4 units — and the vial holds 50 doses. The solution is blue; that is the copper, not a problem.

Injectable GHK-Cu can sting more than most peptides; providers often suggest a slower injection. Dose and schedule come from your G1 provider.

What is a typical GHK-Cu dosing protocol?

Injectable protocols commonly discussed use 1–2 mg subcutaneously, daily or a few times a week, often in cycles. Topical GHK-Cu is dosed completely differently and is not covered here.

Why is my GHK-Cu solution blue?

The copper ion bound to the peptide gives it a characteristic blue colour. Clear-blue is normal; cloudiness or particles are not, and the vial should be discarded.

How should GHK-Cu be stored?

Refrigerated and away from light after reconstitution, within the pharmacy's beyond-use window. Unopened lyophilized vials are stable longer in the fridge.
